TRIDENT electric outboard systems.
A modular electric outboard platform engineered to simplify installation, integration and future servicing.

Engineered for the real installation.
Straightforward vessel interface
Designed as part of a complete system rather than treated as a stand-alone component.
High-voltage electric drive

Single or twin configurations
Designed as part of a complete system rather than treated as a stand-alone component.
Designed to integrate with Ecomar controls and energy systems
Designed as part of a complete system rather than treated as a stand-alone component.
Suitable for new-build and retrofit applications
Designed as part of a complete system rather than treated as a stand-alone component.

Designed around the transom. Built around the electric drive.
TRIDENT is an electric outboard architecture developed around the vessel interface rather than treating the electric motor as a replacement for a conventional outboard.
The aim is a clean installation, straightforward servicing and a clear route into the wider battery and control system.
A complete route from battery to propeller.
The outboard sits within a wider high-voltage propulsion architecture.
Battery, protection, motor control, steering or trim interfaces, communications and operator controls can all be engineered as part of the installation.

Current architecture
Published Ecomar platform material includes configurations up to 200 kW, a 560–800 V operating range, modular assembly and single or twin motor arrangements.
Final specification depends on vessel, duty cycle and selected configuration.
Let's see where it fits.
Tell us about the vessel or application and we can establish the right engineering route, including the technology, interfaces and installation requirements.

The equipment matters. The engineering around it matters more.
