KAIROS electric inboard propulsion.
High-performance axial-flux electric propulsion designed to integrate cleanly with the vessel powertrain, cooling and control system.

Engineered for the real installation.
Axial-flux electric propulsion
Designed as part of a complete system rather than treated as a stand-alone component.
High power density
Designed as part of a complete system rather than treated as a stand-alone component.
Integrated high-voltage architecture
Designed as part of a complete system rather than treated as a stand-alone component.
Water-cooled installation
Designed as part of a complete system rather than treated as a stand-alone component.
Designed around shafting and vessel interfaces
Designed as part of a complete system rather than treated as a stand-alone component.
Multiple power configurations across the range
Designed as part of a complete system rather than treated as a stand-alone component.

The motor is only one part of the powertrain.
KAIROS is engineered as part of a complete electric propulsion system.
Battery voltage, inverter selection, high-voltage protection, cooling, shafting and operator controls all need to be matched to the vessel and its duty cycle.
High power in a compact package.
The KAIROS 600 installation drawing records a 600 kW peak / 580 kW continuous configuration at 830 Vdc.
The motor package is 875 × 675 × 440 mm and 225 kg before the wider installation envelope is considered.

Designed for real vessel integration.
The installation needs to account for motor mounting, shaft alignment, coupling, cooling, HV connections, data and service access.
We engineer the complete envelope rather than specifying a motor in isolation.
Let's see where it fits.
Tell us about the vessel or application and we can establish the right engineering route, including the technology, interfaces and installation requirements.

The equipment matters. The engineering around it matters more.
